ONE MORE TIME
by
Armida Schulha

“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.” Song of Solomon 8:7

Shlomo discovered first-hand the truth of this verse; what it means to walk in love and obedience to God. He was sure he was walking on the right path as a rabbi, but when God called; his path took a sharp turn through prickly thorns that affected lives around him.

FOREWORD

Almost everyone I know loves to take a journey to
somewhere they have never been before. Unbridled
expectancy and intense anticipation captivates the heart
and mind with a hungry desire for the continuous
unveiling of the unknown.
One More Time is a meandering train of intrigue and
emotion that takes you on just such an inspiring journey.
It is a scenic rollercoaster ride of friendship, romance and
religion. It is a journey that challenges us to examine the
deep-rooted feelings, misconceptions and prejudices we
often exhibit in our view of the Jewish culture and what
they believe.
One More Time takes us beyond the Jewish country and
culture. It transports us past mountains of the Jewish politics
and policies. It crosses the rivers and valleys that separate
the Jews and the Gentiles. One More Time unlocks
the door—not just of a Jewish home, but also of Jewish
hearts—and reluctantly, yet willingly, invites us, the
Gentile, to enter and learn.
Although this adventure of relationship and religion
takes a Christian far from the comforts of familiar
Christianity and places them in an unfamiliar setting of
“another world”, it is always quite evident that this train
is traveling on the tracks laid down by a Biblical Christ.
While the reader may take various side trips into individual
lives, we are constantly returned to the main track
that each reader will discover personally.
The tested friendship of Andrew and Shlomo; the
developing romance of Andrew and Ariel; the unfolding
relationship of the Barrett and Weinberg families will all
serve to keep you engulfed in this book until the
unfolding of its conclusion brings the train to a halt at the
station where the journey began.
